EMM36 / EAM58 / EAM90 Absolute Multiturn Encoders
Absolute multiturn encoders store both angle and revolution count, so no reference run is needed after power loss. The main EAM58 series (Ø 58 mm, Ø 6–10 mm shaft or Ø 8–15 mm hollow shaft) is available with SSI, 4–20 mA, Profibus-DP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and CANopen interfaces; typical resolution is 8192 steps × 4096 revolutions, and the -PNOM, -ENOM and -ECOM versions use magnetic sensing. The compact EMM36 (Ø 36 mm) offers SSI or CANopen, and the EAM90 with through hollow shaft up to Ø 28 mm offers SSI or Profibus-DP. IP65, −40…+80 °C (EAM90 −20…+80 °C).
