YQ Series Low Voltage Three-Phase Marine Motor (DNV Type Approval)
YQ is a range of low-voltage marine induction motors in cast iron frames for 380–690 V, 50/60 Hz. Protection is IP55 or IP56, cooling IC411, insulation class F or H with a class F temperature rise, duty types S1, S2 and S6. The series holds a DNV Type Approval Certificate, so it can be fitted to ships and offshore structures under that society's survey without additional testing. It is used in main propulsion systems, marine auxiliaries such as pumps, fans and cranes, and on drilling platforms and FPSOs.
