YPB, YPBF Series General-Purpose Frequency-Controlled Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors
YPB and YPBF are general-purpose induction motors for variable-frequency drives. The electromagnetic design, construction and insulation are optimised for converter supply. The manufacturer cites a wide control range, stable speed, energy savings and high overload capacity. The range covers 0.55–1,600 kW, shaft heights 80–560 mm, 2–10 poles, 380 and 660 V, IP54. In Jiangte designations, F denotes a separately powered fan (IC416) for long-term low-frequency operation; the YPB uses a shaft-mounted fan. For 250–1,600 kW drives there is the related YV(F)3 series.
