YEJ Series Electromagnetic Brake Three-Phase Asynchronous Motor
YEJ motors carry a built-in disc electromagnetic brake on the non-drive end: when power is cut the brake engages automatically — fast stopping, accurate positioning, load holding. Output 0.55–200 kW in frames 80–315; base motor efficiency class IE2, IE3 or IE4 as chosen. Brake supply from a rectifier in the terminal box: DC 99 V (from AC 220 V) for frames up to 100 and DC 170 V (from AC 380 V) from frame 112; per the YEJ2 catalogue braking time 0.15–0.45 s, brake torque 4–150 N·m for frames 63–160. IP55, IC411, class F insulation, standard JB/T 6456. Russian equivalents: AIR…E, AIR…E2 brake motors.
