DLG..A Gear Units for Injection Molding Machines (DLG200A–DLG450A)
DLG..A gear units drive the plasticizing screw of injection molding machines and allow a hydraulic motor to be replaced by an electromechanical drive: the standard input flange and shaft match the fittings of typical hydraulic motors. An idler gear extends the centre distance for a U-shaped layout of motor, gear unit and screw. Sizes 200A, 225A, 250A, 320A, 360A (400A and 450A on request), i = 6.3–63, nominal torque 8,395–77,585 N·m (up to 160,757 N·m for 450A), n1 up to 2,600 rpm, efficiency over 95 %. Gears HRC 58–62, accuracy class 6 or better; forced lubrication recommended for 250A–360A.
