YOX Fluid Coupling with Nylon Pin Connection
A variant of the basic YOX fluid coupling in which the jaw-type elastic half-coupling with a spider is replaced by one with nylon (polyamide) pins. The connection is unchanged: the reducer shaft fits into the coupling bore, the motor is connected via the pin half-coupling. According to the manufacturer, shaft alignment during installation is simpler, and the pins can be replaced without moving the motor or reducer. Sizes YOX-190…YOX-1000 share the YOX connection dimensions: 0.6–760 kW at 1,500 rpm, up to 1,000 kW at 1,000 rpm, bores up to 150 mm. A temperature switch is available on request.
