YOX Torque-Limiting Constant Filling Fluid Coupling (YOX, YOXy, YOXys)
YOX is the basic version of the Jiaohua torque-limiting constant filling fluid coupling: the reducer shaft fits directly into the coupling bore, and the motor is connected through an ML jaw-type elastic half-coupling (GB 5272-85) with a spider. It is the shortest and most widely used arrangement. 19 sizes YOX-190…YOX-1000 (the number is the effective working-circuit diameter in mm) transmit 0.6–760 kW at 1,500 rpm and up to 1,000 kW at 1,000 rpm. YOXy and YOXys versions with an enlarged rear and side chamber extend the start-up. If the load jams, oil is released through a fusible plug.
